BRS Working President and Minister for Information Technology and Industry, KT Rama Rao, has convened an urgent assembly with key ministers from the Greater Hyderabad region.
In attendance at the meeting held at Pragati Bhavan today were P Sabitha Indra Reddy, Minister of Education; Mahmood Ali, Minister of Home Affairs; T Srinivas Yadav, Minister of Animal Husbandry; and T Padma Rao Goud, Deputy Speaker of the State Assembly.
Sources have indicated that the primary agenda of the meeting, chaired by KTR, is centered around the equitable distribution of 2 BHK houses to eligible recipients. The meeting will also lay out a comprehensive plan for the large-scale implementation of this housing initiative.
Given the recent proclamation by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, in which he pledged the distribution of one lakh 2 BHK houses to the economically disadvantaged during his Independence Day address, the discussions facilitated by KTR and his ministerial colleagues carry substantial weight.
In addition to addressing the housing distribution initiative, KTR and his ministerial associates will conduct a thorough evaluation of ongoing developmental programs in Hyderabad. Simultaneously, they will expedite the resolution of any outstanding matters, particularly in light of the upcoming year-end assembly elections.
